Tilley Andalusian Logo Tilley Andalusians - A Tradition of Quality
Over the years, Nadine and Chocolate Chip Tilley Andalusians has successfully won over 50 National Grand Champion and National Champion titles as well as numerous Regional Championship titles in Halter and Performance.

Bill Deeny became the Head Trainer/Director of Tilley Andalusians in May of 2008. Bill became enamored with horses of all kinds at the age of five. His career started with 4-H competitions and events, which gave him the important building blocks to have a lasting relationship with equines. After attending a four-year university and obtaining a degree in political science, Bill decided that horses would be his life career. He learned his trade by apprenticeship with the best trainers he could find in the various breeds and disciplines from coast to coast.

Bill came to California to serve as performance trainer at El Camino Ranch before joining the Tilley Andalusian Team. He has already made a profound impact on the Andalusian/Lusitano horse show world as well as the driving community. In his tenure, Bill has already produced many Grand National Champion and National Champion titles in a variety of disciplines.

We have competed in all divisions of performance with our horses, but driving has become my favorite. I find the Andalusian a superior driving horse, not only for its presence but also for its tractability and stamina. I have successfully introduced the Andalusians to the driving world in the disciplines of Combined Driving and Traditional and Antique Carriage competitions. Nadine and Xar Pei VO - Palomino Lusitano StallionThis love has earned for me the affectionate title, "Our Lady of Perpetual Driving", bestowed by Ms. Connie Leshin, a leading show announcer of many years.

I am also an avid antique carriage collector, favoring the carriages of the late 1800's. In 2002, I opened a private museum in Los Angeles - The Tilley Carriage House - to showcase my collection along with memorabilia and art collected from many years of being in the show arena and involvement with our Andalusian horse associations:
