Tilley Andalusian Logo Tilley Andalusians - A Tradition of Quality

On a visit to the Iberian Peninsula in 1972, I experienced the enchantment of the Andalusian horse, but unfortunately I could not locate a single one for sale in the United States upon my return. My husband also loves horses - the kind that are found under the hood of fast cars, namely Ferrari's, and that fascination introduced us to Greg Garrison, a renowned collector of World Class one-of-a-Amici BB - Pure Spanish Andalusian Stallionkind Ferrari's. As luck would have it, Greg also was one of the first importers of Andalusians to the United States and in 1980, I was presented a dream come true - a two year old stallion Bibaino III, son of the legendary Legionario III - as a Christmas present. I have never owned another breed since as I was totally captivated with the charisma and heart of this magnificent breed.

In 1997, I purchased a lovely facility in Hemet, California, which is located 90 miles from Los Angeles. Over the last 14 years, Tilley Andalusians has successfully won numerous Regional and National titles, as well as High Point honors for our gifted and versatile horses. We have been extremely successful in the open show world, introducing the Andalusian to the Combined Driving, Pleasure Driving, and Antique Carriage Driving world, proving time and time again what a versatile and tractable horse the Andalusian can be.

In 2004, my husband and I had the fabulous opportunity to put the Andalusian and Lusitano breed in the public eye indefinitely. Bill and I provided a permanent endowment for the famous University of Southern California mascot, Traveler. Now, as long as there is a "Traveler", he will be an Andalusian or Lusitano. Our lovely ranch is now known as "The Home of Traveler", and I hope to be breeding the next USC Mascot at our facility.
